My Friend's Wedding

I came a bit late yesterday night at past eleven in the evening. My friend and I went shopping for his wedding attire. His original plan was to wear either "Barong Tagalog" or "suit" but, after short persuasion, I've convinced him to wear suit instead of barong, which I don't understand what makes me like this clothing... he, he, he!

Perhaps you've read novel, life's style column in a magazine, or even saw a movie that relates to this story. I suggest you should see Made of Honor and My Best Friend's Wedding for fun, and exciting experience.

Anyway, let's go back to the shopping details... I was suggesting my friend a variety of choices from tie, shirt, suit alike, as if I am an expert... he, he, he! But, in the end I let him choose alone, not to put him in dilemma if I insist my idea, a suit from various brands that are tailored in Italy. Yeah! You read it clearly not a single one is made from China or India. I even joked that I envy him wearing such a pretty expensive but, nice wear.

After going over with the fabric's quality thoroughly, my friend finally decided. He chose his type, paid the bill, and so do mine for the groceries I bought, then off we left. While on the way to Pizza Inn to bit some for dinner (sounds so Italian, huh!) before going home, I greatly enjoyed our talking, confessing, teasing, laughing, blah, blah! a very long, long story to mention here.

I must admit that though I feel happy for my friend's wedding, I also feel sad that I cannot attend personally, that I am not able to see the solemnization of his matrimony.

Nevertheless, the important thing for me is that at least I know, my friend will be the happiest man on earth on his wedding day, marrying a wonderful and lovely lady, and who is wearing a suit branded by Franco Martini.

Holiday

“Ah!” I sighed! What a bulky e-mails? Let me check this one... “Click!”

I don’t sense any zest hitherto to resume on my work as the week long
Eid Al-Adha was just over for the year 1428 Hijra.

It’s been a usual obsession for me thinking, and planning to spend my vacation at home with my family, ever since I was in Kyonggi for the past 10 years... I enjoy waking-up late in the morning after a long, long exhausting, and sleepless night watching TV shows, DVD movies, surfing the net, & etc...

However, life is totally different here in Riyadh (where I’m presently residing) comparing to Candelaria, and Kwangju, Kyonggi (places where I’ve lived for the past years).

Anyway, I spent the Eid holiday altogether with my family, friends, and my cousins together with their own families. We’ve traveled to Eastern province in convoy of SUV cars, went to the beach, including the usual happenings during weekend. Although these stuffs have nothing to do with my original plans, then I’ve enjoyed it.

... “Click!” [Here is the content of the e-mail sent to me by a colleague in form of “office spam”]

If a barber makes a mistake, it’s a “New Style.”

If an engineer makes a mistake, it is a “New Venture.”

If parents make a mistake, it is a “New Generation.”

If a politician makes a mistake, it is a “New Law.”

If a tailor makes a mistake, it is a “New Fashion.”

If a teacher makes a mistake, it is a “New Theory.”

If our boss makes a mistake, it is a “New Idea.”

If an employee makes a mistake, it is a “Mistake.”

... it is at this point wherein I told myself not to commit mistake today!
